The gite has been completely renovated to an exceptional standard and accentuates the country style with exposed beams and exposed walls. It offers a luxurious double bedroom with a gorgeous en-suite bathroom. The bedroom is set on a raised level which leads down to a cosy living area and well-equipped kitchen.
Outside the property is a walled garden planted with lavender bushes and in a cottage style in keeping with the period of the property. There is a pergola providing a restful area for those seeking shade. It has a swimming pool and terrace where you can soak up the sunshine and enjoy the peaceful surrounding countryside.
Just outside the property you will find a BBQ area under the shade of the trees, perfect for a morning coffee. If you want to cook some local produce then feel free to use the eggs laid by the hens living in the grounds.
The views across the countryside are mesmerising, every look reveals something fascinating or an exciting hidden gem. If your holiday takes you exploring, the Dordogne region hides tiny villages everywhere, tucked between the hills.
Just a short drive away lies the most vibrant city in the area, Bergerac (15 mins away), also home to the nearest airport. You can learn about the region’s tobacco and wine industries in the museums here, or take a more practical approach at the dozens of wineries lying just outside the city.
Personal note from the owners, Ali and Greg "A warm welcome to our wonderful home greets every guest. Time to relax, space to unwind and an oasis to make memories."
The passion Ali and Greg clearly have for their treasured holiday home shines through, so it’s no wonder that many guests return year after year.
You'll find a welcome basket of local produce and wine on your arrival.
Very popular, booking early is highly recommended.
