It can be rented separately or together with The Bread Oven, a converted two bedroom gite also set within the six acres of countryside.

About the Property

A gated entrance and private driveway leads to Domaine de Gigan, The Farmhouse and The Bread Oven, another stunning property set within these delightful grounds. These two properties are totally secluded providing an idyllic retreat and a place to relax and unwind. Treat yourself to local wine and produce which is thoughtfully provided by the owners on arrival.

Rustic wooden shutters frame the windows of this picture perfect farmhouse and flowers above the front door make an inviting entrance making it feel like a home from home. A secluded terrace encloses the property on all sides providing sun or shade for your morning coffee or an alfresco lunch made on the outdoor BBQ.

Inside the farmhouse a large open plan living room with exposed stonework and a wood burning fire creates the perfect place to unwind on a long summers day or on a cold winters evening. For those with large families there is a separate space on the mezzanine away from the main lounge. The Farmhouse at Domaine de Gigan, has five spacious bedrooms spread over two floors which are decorated to an exceptional standard. The balance of old and new works beautifully in this property, country chic and clean lines set off each room. Indulge yourself in the sumptuous bathrooms, two of which are en suite.

Out of the large wooden lounge doors are stunning landscaped gardens which lead to a heated salt water swimming pool. Take in the view of the local windmill and the patchwork of yellow fields of sunflowers or relax by the pool which is lined with lavender providing the perfect summer scent.

Visit the local towns of Eymet and Villeneuve, walk along the narrow streets lined with medieval houses and visit the local markets where you can purchase delicious pastries and sample authentic French cuisine. For those looking for an active holiday you can canoe along the Dordogne or go horse riding amongst the woodland and rolling hills.

The owners also offer yoga retreats and painting holidays, a chance to get away from it all and be inspired by the beautiful scenery and relaxing atmosphere. Whatever you chose to do here you will be spoilt for choice.
