Reviews

A truly special place to explore the area around Bordeaux; the house was the perfect place for our three families to base ourselves for a week of relaxation. Saint-Andre-et-Appelles is a small but well located town, quiet enough to enjoy but with easy access to all required amenities. The house itself was gorgeous and impeccably clean; we in particular appreciated the provision of sporting equipment which meant that all the children spent most of their time outside in the garden or on the amazing tennis court. Extremely highly recommended, we will definitely be back!
Anna and Charles have an amazing home. Very comfortable! Lots do to at the home. Beautiful gardens including lots of fruit trees. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lots of space and excellent for large groups. Saint Foy La Grande has a huge market on Saturday’s which is a must visit. We had teenagers with us as well and they loved the house and the activities.
This place is amazing, the house is beautifully decorated and every detail is though for. We went there 11 adults and one baby and had a perfect stay, with lots of space (the house is very big), nice common areas to dine together and then of course lots of activities with tennis, swimming pool and different games that the hosts put to your disposition. Can´t imagine a better place to experience Bordeaux, the beautiful countryside and enjoy hanging out friends and family.
We recently stayed with two other families at La Gravouse and were not disappointed. The house was large enough to easily accommodate us and not feel at all cramped. The house is very well equipped and instantly felt like home. Our children loved the pool and all the sports equipment that was available. The location is great for exploring the area, with a large supermarket only 10 minutes away. We would definitely recommend to friends and family and plan to return.
Super house for large groups - so much room to do so many things. A lovely safe pool and a really large outdoor dining and relaxing area outside, facing beautiful sunsets and sparkling night skies.
